Social media follows, likes, comments, reviews, and referrals make our online content really “pop.” They give our small businesses some traction, call attention to our services, give us street cred, improve our ranking in algorithms, ring in new business, and help maintain relationships with current customers.

The Biweekly Small Business Show and Tell has been created to help you improve your online presence as well as get you in the habit of asking for what you need. For example, during this one-hour Zoom session, you could share a recent post you created (the show part), mention a little bit about the thought behind the post (the tell) and then—most importantly—ask fellow participants to like the post.

The idea is to give you multiple opportunities to share your content with other small business owners and to get comfortable asking for what you want. Ask for likes, comments, reviews, referrals, tips, etc. Please understand that nobody is under any obligation to follow up on your request.
