Turns out, my car wasn’t the only one that left the service bay feeling better. I just received the most unexpected—and welcome—customer service at Griffin Ford in Waukesha.

When my dashboard light flashed last week, reminding me it was time for an oil change, I immediately began reshuffling my schedule, bracing myself for the usual hour or so in the dealership waiting room. What a super surprise, then, when I received a text from Cameron Johnson letting me know I qualified for Griffin’s complimentary pickup and delivery service. (They pick up and return my car, letting me stay home.) A quick phone call later, and I was enthusiastically saying, “Yes, please!” That’s when Audra Hanson, a Griffin Quick Lane Advisor, stepped in and took care of all the arrangements—quickly and kindly.

From that point on, everything flowed so smoothly. I received reminder texts about the date and time of my car’s service. On that day, I received texts to let me know when the service valet left the dealership and then when he arrived at my home. After handing my keys to the clean cut and smiling young driver, Chris, I was then able to get back to my writing projects.

I received a text informing me my car made it to the dealership. Later, I received a detailed phone call from Audra to let me know the status of my car once the work was finished. She was so upbeat and professional, and I have to admit I enjoyed speaking to a woman in a field normally populated by all men.

After its service and just before my car left Griffin Ford, I received two more texts: one saying the valet was headed back and then a second when she arrived. Yes, another woman is part of Team Griffin in its service department! With a big smile and friendly greeting, Gina Beutel met me in the driveway with my car and keys. I already knew I wanted to write a review for this great all-around customer service, so Gina was sweet enough to pose for this picture. (Thank you, Gina.)

My experience with Griffin Ford and all the people I mentioned was wonderful. White-glove treatment—and for something as mundane as oil change and tire rotation! Not one grouch in the group, the valet service was an unexpected treat, and I’m very sure my car got great care, as well.
