Most men don’t know how good a haircut can feel. My husband and my father are not included in that group because I have introduced them to Men’s Hair House.
Starting off at the Menomonee Falls location some years ago, they now visit the Brookfield location and share the same stylist, Vicki. Each month the guys look forward to their salon experience.
As they’ve explained it to me, Vicki starts with the cut, then a shampoo, follows with fine trimming, and finishes with a blow dry and a bit of product (for extra style), if they desire. They appreciate her skill with the trimmer and scissors, and they equally enjoy the complementary hot towel and upper back/shoulders/neck massage they receive. According to my husband, those last two are the “highlights” of every visit. He adds that Vicki “doesn’t ever short change on the massage.”
For my father, Vicki is especially wonderful, kind, and patient when waxing his ears to remove unwanted hair (he doesn’t mind my sharing that). As an elderly man, it’s important she do this slowly and methodically and I appreciate the care she extends to him. After visiting Vicki, my dad is always the best groomed guy at his assisted living facility.
Both men receive the senior discount Men’s Hair House extends for early morning appointments, enjoy the comfy recliners as they wait their turn, and my father always treats himself to a few lollipops from the front desk. Both guys schedule their next appointment before leaving to ensure they never miss their monthly hair salon experience.
While they were initially reluctant to let go of their former barbers, today my husband and my father can’t imagine going anywhere else but Men’s Hair House.
