Valuable Quotes from our Attendees

Our topic of discussion inspired many of our attendees to share their tips on working with a team.

Sharing their 2021 goals—and tips on how to reach those goals–helped inspire and motivate participants.

Laura Van Schyndel

“I think that it is important to have big goals to keep motivated. We just may have several goals to get to that point.”

Catherine Jozwik

“(One of my goals is) to expand my publication, if possible, by maybe bringing it to other Milwaukee area communities such as Wauwatosa and Greenfield/Greendale. I think, for myself at least, writing goals down will really help. I need to work on time management.”

Kim Knaak

“(I’m) working hard achieving and EXPANDING my goals for 2021. I thought I was going big with my goals. A great thing is finding that goal, hitting it and needing to EXPAND it! WOOT! I put my goal down the same way every year, through a word. I plaster it everywhere and don’t allow myself to forget it. It’s not to late to choose your “word” and you can read more about how I do it here: Write down those goals, friends! Plaster them everywhere. Do not forget your goal. Keywords to help you achieve your goal also help.

I start with a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) goal and create smaller goals to achieve that one large goal. To me, the hardest but most important is Achievable and Time-Bound. I often have many goals to reach that one final large goal.”

Jonathan Heider

“Learning to pivot with how the industry comes in waves and riding the wave rather than chasing it. Build healthy habits to accomplish goals successfully.”

Joanna Carlberg

“To increase my social media presence and keep up my blog. (To help reach your goals), write yourself a letter and open it a year later.”

Caryn Willens

”I am adding a computer tech to my Vision Board.”
